<p><strong>Description:</strong><br />
A typical egyptian breakfast, Foul Medammes or Broad Beans, is both filling and delicious, a great start for the day!</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients:</strong><br />
1 can of Foul Medammes (Drain and mash)<br />
Olive Oil<br />
2 cloves garlic (crushed)<br />
1tsp cumin<br />
1tsp coriander<br />
1tsp black pepper<br />
1/2 cup of water<br />
Parsley Leaves<br />
Onion<br />
Green Chilli<br />
Lime or Lemon (wedge)<br />
Fried Egg (Bull&#8217;s eye)<br />
Warm bread</p>
<p><strong>Directions:</strong><br />
Heat olive oil in a small pot<br />
When olive oil is hot, fry the crushed garlic, and quickly add in the spices.<br />
Fry a little until fragrant, then add the mashed foul. Add water and leave to cook.</p>
<p>Once cooked, serve in a small pasta bowl and garnish with parsley, green chillies, onions (diced small), cracked black pepper, a wedge of lemon and drizzle some olive oil.</p>
<p>Serve hot with bread.</p>
